Spanish Oaks, a McCormick Ranch town home Community

The community of Spanish Oaks is located to the north of McCormick Parkway. This guarded and gated community has almost 120 homes, with 32 of them having east or north facing views of the Palms Golf course . The community pool is surrounded by a private lake making it both cooling and enjoyable to sit and enjoy. The community of Spanish Oaks was built in 1979 and 1980. Most of the homes are single level and there are 23 two story units in the neighborhood. Most of the homes have wood burning fireplaces and range in size from 1487 sqft to 1892 sqft.

What A Weekend

I just returned from a great weekend! My husband Rick and I drove over to San Diego for a James Arthur Ray Harmonic Wealth Weekend. It was 2 full days of amazing discoveries. I even broke a board with my bare hands. We had the opportunity to meet some great people as well. You may remember James Ray from The Secret if you have had a chance to see it. I am looking forward to an awesome 2008! Join me in making it your best year ever too!

Meridian in McCormick Ranch

The community of Meridian is located just off the McCormick Ranch Parkway to the north. With the Scottsdale Resort to the west and Spanish Oaks to the east. There are 7 homes with a view of the Palms Golf Course . This gated community has homes ranging in size from just over 1500sqft and up to about 2400sqft. There are single level and two story homes, with 111 total residences. There are 23 homes listed as having a private pool. There is also a community pool awaiting you as well. The homes have high vaulted ceilings, and large full sized master bathrooms with separate tub and shower and wood burning fire places.

Going on in Scottsdale

Winter has arrived up north, the holidays are all over, and people are ready to come visit Scottsdale and Arizona.  I think January is one of our busiest months of the year.  Especially this year.

January 12 – 20th is the Barret Jackson car auction.
January 13th is the PF Chang’s Rock and Roll Marathon.
January 28 – February 3rd is the FBR Open, formerly known as the Phoenix Open.

and on the day the FBR ends we have Superbowl XLII Sunday February 3rd here in the Valley of the Sun.  With lots of parties and happenings in Scottsdale as well.  Be sure to check out the Guide for Superbowl week in Scottsdale, and the Scottsdale Events Calendar to be sure you catch all you can while here.

McCormick Ranch townhome community of Santa Fe

The Community of Santa Fe is located to the north of McCormick Parkway and to the west of Hayden Rd. It is a town home community with large patios, sunny atrium’s, single level and 2 story floor plans with an average of 1972 sqft in the homes, and 366 properties. Santa Fe has 3 community pools, and club houses. One pool area is currently being remodeled. Another is located along the Camelback Walk with views of the McCormick Ranch Palms Golf Course . Some of the homes back to the multi use path (the Camelback Walk) with views of Lake Santa Fe and the golf course. The Santa Fe community is a Spanish styled community with arched walkways, and tile roofs. The large enclosed patios make outdoor living easy.

McCormick Ranch Home Sale Statistics

Happy New Year!

I have updated my chart with the current listing numbers and the sold homes for December.  I can see a slow but good trend for the number of properties sold going up.  With 38 closings this past month and the reduction of homes on the market, we currently have a 13.7 month supply of homes in the 85258 zip code.
